Features

General

Group of Groups: From web-organization, the administrator is now able to associate groups with a group, and the mobile client can display the details of all groups belonging to a given group.

Non authenticated users in contact list: in previous release there was no indication about subscribers that does not install the application. With the new release we added the indication in contact list about users non authenticated.

Push Notification for Users when New Version is Available: Now, when you go to open a ticket or click ‘contact us’ within the Team on the Run application, a pop-up will be displayed mentioning that you will have to update the application before submitting the ticket.

My Business

Auto-routing, Manual routing, Hybrid Routing execution: Enhancement of the auto-routing feature, with the possibility to manually select recipients at some steps in the process.

Process Escalation Routing Execution: With the escalation feature, if the recipients of a given process does not interact within a fixed period (configured in the process), the process will be escalated to the supervisor.

Call Process Widget: A manager can now initiate a process called parent process, and in back end side new call processes will be created and sent to users based on conditions in the parent process. The manager should be notified about updates on sub process thanks to the call widget in the parent process. The aim of the feature is simplifying complex workflow in some processes.

Messaging

Messages Display Optimization: Changed the display of messages inside the conversation screen, to avoid having spaces between messages sent from the same user in a short time and to have a single picture of the sender for multiple messages sent in a short time.

Read receipt: the mobile client is now sending a report about either the message has been seen or not. The receiver sends the seen information only on the sender request it. Indeed, the sender must enable the option from the application settings.

Send client logs: Added the possibility to send logs to server with screenshots and/or videos. (Team on Mission only)

Geolocation

Geolocation enhancement: the feature consists on awaking the device when it goes to the deep sleep. Indeed, after being enabled from the web-organization if the device goes to the deep sleep a banner will be displayed to the user in order to wake up the device for a few seconds and retrieve location of the user.

Improvements on labels: when no location data Added new reasons when location has not been retrieved and enhance old reasons to explain better the reason for which the mobile client was not able to retrieve the location.

Keep geolocation running in background: in the old behavior “Keep Geoloc Running in Background” is disabled by default and it will be displayed only if User can Change Geoloc Option. In this new feature this parameter it will be displayed as well in app settings: If the frequency tracking is 1 min for the organization and the user can switch on. (By default, the feature “Keep geoloc in background” is activated for all users) if the frequency tracking is superior to 1 min for the organization and the user can switch off. (By default, the feature “Keep geoloc in background” is deactivated for all users.)

Video

Video streaming: In call screen Added the possibility to trigger a video streaming from the call screen. The participant of the audio streaming session are the same participants in the VoIP call.

Additional Enhancements

New VoIP stack release: Integrated new VoIP stack which introduces various bug fixes and added support of the following items: •better thread attachment to VM in order to improve battery use. •Use audio track low latency when available. •3GPP KPI 4 support. •H264 support.

Auto connection to channel upon restart: Currently, on the application, the user does not reconnect to the channels he was connected when any of these events happen(at restart): •Application crashes •Phone reboot •Application manually killed With this enhancement, the app will reconnect to all the channels that were active before crash/reboot/app manually killed.

Cross Call support: Added the support of new firmware of Cross Call devices (Action X3, Core X3, Trekker X4, Trekker 3) with possibility to recover to the legacy mode by disabling a new option added in the accessories section from application settings. à Only on android?

64 Bit support: Added the support of the 64-bit system for native library as requested by Google (Android Only)

Share & Open Photos/Videos with external apps: Added the possibility to share or open an attachment from the application using an external application. (Android Only)

 

 

Webchat/Admin Update 2.3.9

As of now, Webchat/Admin update 2.3.9 is live. Below you will see a list of changes that have occurred to enhance your user experience. There is no download necessary, just open up Webchat and see whats new.

Messages

Read Receipt: When a user sends a message, he/she will now see two notifications. One check to know the message has been sent (normal), the second check will be the color grey until the user reads the message. Once you see double green check marks you will instantly know that not only did the user receive the message but saw it too.

My Business (Administrators)

Call Process Widget: Allow users the ability to add another step to a process that is external to the main process.

New Display for Routing: This has been modified from “Auto-routing” to “Activate routing.” By default, routing is off. When admin switches “activate routing,” all the steps of the process template are displayed.

Manual Routing: When an administrator activates “Manual routing configuration,” it means that, on the user side, it will be up to the process owner to route the process to recipients. There are 2 configurations: “Define allowed list of recipients” & “Define default recipients.”

Hybrid Routing: Enhanced process routing to be hybrid by having both a predefined list of recipients and giving the user the ability to select additional recipients as well.

Deadline Escalation Routing: Set an expiration date and time in the process step(s) after which the process will be routed to other predefined list of recipients.

My Business (Users)

Sorting Processes: Adding in a sorting feature to let users sort category processes.

Additional Features

Group of Groups: At group or department creation, it is possible to add one or more groups/departments and atomic users. This makes it possible to have a group which includes both groups and individual users within.

Audit Server Cleanup: Added a new task to cleanup the database and storage by considering the configurable parameters set by each organization

Settings: The time zone is now configurable in settings.

Configure the display of Root Department: For Admins – Web Company Admin à Settings à Company Settings à Users Authorization à Display company department. This allows you to toggle whether you can see the company department for all users. By default, this will be inactive. *

At Team on the Run, we take your data very seriously and we believe that your data is your asset and we’re just keeping it safe, and that’s why we encourage you to download regularly your processes and attachments so your data stays with you at all times. By performing an auto-cleanup we are ensuring that your data stays your data.

Auto-cleanup is set to empower users to define a period of times after which the items (messages and processes) will be automatically deleted
from the Cloud/Webchat server:

  • They are removed from webchat but not from mobile application*
  • They are removed from the Webchat of users but not from Backend.
  • A Company Administrator can still generate reports on My Business from Web Company admin when Cloud server auto-cleanup for processes is performed.

There are 2 parameters :

  • Webchat/ Cloud Messages retention: it can be set from 1 week to unlimited*
  • Webchat/Cloud Processes retention : it can be set from 1 week to unlimited*
    o The auto cleaning applied only to Completed and Cancelled processed. Per configuration, it can be extended to other categories

For users who mainly use Team on the Run for My business, the following improvements have been added to the product:

  • Grace period retention

Add Contacts/Groups Filter on each contact picker: Add Filter for all Contact Pickers (Voip, Messaging, invite users, process recipients,)

Change orientation and define as user profile image: Add button to change the orientation of picture to these interfaces:

1 – After taking photo and before sending it.

2 – Preview photo from the conversation.

3- Preview photo from media, documents & links from details of user.

Search In Full Company: When this parameter is on: Allows communication between users that cannot see each other in the company list, you can go in the contacts search bar and search for all the users available on the server for the organization no matter the restrictions

My Business

Process Expiration Notification: On My Business Main view (Activity page), the due date information is displayed in the process entry:

  • with orange background 24 hours before the due date.
  • with red background at the due date.

Process Option Display: The priority for a process will not be mandatory anymore unless it is defined by the admin at process template creation/edition on web company admin. In any cases, the process option page will not be displayed automatically to the initiator when starting a process.

Display Process Progression: On My Business Main view (Activity page), the process progression is displayed in the process entry: current Step regarding total steps.

Process Step Edition Right: Add restriction that allow process owner to only edit assigned Step content. In addition, greyed effect added for not allowed Steps in order to more show difference between readable and editable Steps.

Name and Search of Processes: Because of performance issue and complexity of the implementation of a full search in content, for the moment, the search will still be performed in process name instance content. Admin will be able to define that for some widgets, their content filled in by process owner in the process, will be automatically be added in the name of process. this approach will solve the customer needs.

Deletion of Processes from New/InProgress: Allow user to delete process instances from New and In Progress Categories.

Signature widget in landscape: In order to allow users to add a signature with large space, the landscape mode has been added for the signature widget.

Geolocation & Map Providers

Geolocation: Display on client/webchat the PLMN – Public land mobile network

– The dispatcher will see the PLMN (Public Land Mobile Network) used by the user’s device on the dispatcher map. Also, the smartphone users will see the PLMN of the user’s tracked. The PLMN will be displayed near the battery and network info so dispatcher will see if the user is connected to the public. GSM network or to the private LTE network.

To set your Android device to automatically update Team on the Run, do the following:

*By default, Android apps downloaded from the Google Play Store are automatically updated.

To turn updates on, follow these steps:

  1. Open Google Play.
  2. Tap the hamburger icon (three horizontal lines) on the top-left.
  3. Tap Settings.
  4. Tap Auto-update apps.
  5. If Data-charges are an issue, please select “Over Wi-Fi only.” Otherwise please select “Over any network” *
*This will auto-update all your apps

To set your iOS device to automatically update Team on the Run, do the following:

1.) Tap the Settings app icon on your Home Screen.

2.) In the Settings app, tap your name at the top of the menu.

3.) Scroll down on the Apple ID screen until you see the “iTunes & App Store” menu item. Tap that.

4.) On the iTunes & App Store screen, tap the “Updates” toggle switch in the “AUTOMATIC DOWNLOADS” section. It will turn green when it is toggled to “On.”

Your Team on the Run app will now be automatically updated whenever an update hits the App Store.

    • This is a new functionality that we add
    • The user will hear all the channels when people are talking on them
    • If the user is talking on a channel, he does not hear other channels
  • Hear First Speaker:
    • This is an existing functionality that we have when channels priorities per organization is turned off
    • The user will hear only the channel on which a user is talking. If on a different channel somebody else is talking it will not be heard.
    • If the user is talking on a channel, he does not hear other channels
  • Hear First Priority:
    • This is an existing functionality that we have when channels priorities per organization is turned on
    • The user will hear only the channel with the highest priority on which a user is talking. If on a different channel with the same priority somebody else is talking it will not be heard.

WebChat: PTT Call/VoIP calls on Hold àUsers that are envolved in a PTT/Voip or Video call and respond to another PTT, Voip or Video Call will be put on Hold. On mobile, the user will have the possibility to put only one call on hold. On WebChat, the user will have the possibility to put on hold multiple PTT and VoIP calls.

WebChat: Auto Answer VoIP call from recipient of Man Down Alert.When recipient of a man down alert calls the user in distress, the user in distress will autoanswer the call (VoIP call) to hear the recipient of the man down alert. The VoIP all initiated from the man-down alert pop-up will have the same priority as an Emergency Call.

My Business

  • When creating or editing a process, the admin will now have the right to define the priority level for that process
    • If the option is set to ON
      • The 3 levels are displayed. By default, medium is selected.
      • The Priority level displayed on user side for each process instance executed will be the one set by the Admin and it can not be changed.

Naming automation widget for search: When creating/editing a process, a company admin will be able to define one or more widgets for which the content filled by the user in the process instance will be automatically added in process instance instance. The update of process name will be done either when user presses on SUBMIT or on Complete button.

  • It means that the input of this widget will be added automatically in process instance name on user side and user/admin will be able to search for this entry.
  • Administrator will be able to set a widget entry as search process keyword for all widgets except:
    • Doodle
    • Table
    • Info
    • Separator
    • Signature
    • Upload file
    • Text area
    • Web view
    • Start-stop

Processes export (Admin and User): You can now filter which parts of processes you want to export.

Processes templates export/import (Web Company Admin Only):

[EXPORT] Admin will be able to export process template when:

  1. Admin hovers the mouse over one process template in “My Process” list.
    • The menu button for the template will be displayed. If admin clicks on it, the option of the process template will be displayed.
    • the new “Export” process will be added in the option, right below “Edit option”
      • When admin clicks on it, the export will be generated
  1. Admin clicks on one process instance : process preview is displayed.
    • A new action button “Export” will be displayed, between Edit and Deactivate button.
    • When admin clicks on it the export will be generated

[IMPORT] A new button will be added “Import Processes”.

  • Imported processes will be imported in the “General” category by default. Up to the admin to change the category later.

Feature: One-Click Push-to-Talk

What is One-click Push-to-Talk?

One-click PTT allows users to get in and out of PTT calls faster by having the button (see below image). The feature, which launched in September, is part of our push to make Team on the Run both faster and more accessible for users.

By using a PTT button that doesn’t block navigating on the app and improves the start session using only one click, end users are able to swiftly get in touch with their employees by just clicking on their name in the contact directory.

May 30, 2018 Paris, France : In April 2016, StreamWIDE was selected to supply a Voicemail Platform including Visual Voicemail and Fax over IP to Swisscom, the incumbent and largest telecom provider in Switzerland, and at the end of 2017 has officially fully migrated all 9 million Swisscom voicemail boxes over to the new platform. A portion of the solution also includes the implementation of the Visual Voicemail platform for both iOS and Android operating systems.
